Balochistan Human Rights Watch: Prompt and urgent action needed for releasing Moulavi Ahmad Naroui, the vice director of Sunni religious educational institute of Zahedan

According to the Sunni Online News netmedia agency, it is to be informed that Moulavi Ahmad Naroui, the vice director of Sunni religious educational institute of Zahedan, the senior lecturer of the institue and the head administrator of Sunni Online News netmedia was subjected to stand at the special court for clergymen in Mashad – Iran on Saturday 9 August 2008. He was arrested on his way back from the court.

Based on initial suppositions and conjectures, the Sunni Online netmedia agency estimated the arrestation act as beeing temporary, but after now 11 days’ of beeing in suspense over the outcome, it looks like a merely serious issue rather than cooincidental, and therefore the affair is giving rise to deep concern.

According to one of the close friend of Moulavi Ahmad Naroui, Mr. Najib Naroui who lives abroad, and who is an active member of ‘’Balochistan Human Rights Watch’’, Maoulavi Naroui went to the court, attended by 12 other close friends and relatives, as he was supposed to, at the scheduled date and time while the attended persons were denied admission. His friends waited vainly the entire day, and when they at last addressed any information at the court, nobody in the court knew anything about Moulavi Ahmad Naroui, and the final statement was that ‘’this’’ individual has never been in this court.

Considering of beeing in suspense over any kind of information, the family of Moulavi ahmad Naroui is deeply concerned about what has happened to him, especially because the family vainly has addressed all sections in the court and yet not been succeded to gain any information.
It is worth mentioning that the islamic regime’s security authorities have used many different tricks in order to avoid attornies and lawyers to get involved in similar cases. Unfortunately the case of Moulavi Ahmad Naroui has been subjected to the same procedure.

We in ‘’Balochistan Human Rights Watch’’ are convinced that this kind of procedure where a person is asked to stand in a court which denies any kind of link is amongst the most gross violation of basic human rights, and such a procedure is in our understanding as kidnapping, beacuase when the legal system in Iran denies any kind of link to the incidence, there would not be possible for the ‘’International Society’’ to address and call for the particular case. This would undaubtedly result in that a prisoner will vanish clandestinely

Finaly, it must be mentioned that Moulavi Ahmad Naroui had to stand in the same court in 2000, afterwards he was held as prisoner for 2 months.

Therefor, we draw your attention to an urgent call for saving the life of Moulavi Ahmad Naroui.
